EXPERIENCE MUSIC DIFFERENTLY
Dear members of the audience,
The Philharmonie de Paris is under construction at the Parc de la Villette, the major cultural axis of the French capital. We are preparing for its opening in 2015 and hope to welcome you then. As an exceptional architectural feat, the Philharmonie de Paris aims to revitalise musical life. Why? Because:
- The Philharmonie de Paris is much more than a concert venue: it is a set of friendly spaces that puts access to music for all at the heart of its project, through listening, group activities, and sharing of knowledge;
- The Philharmonie de Paris is an innovative concert hall where audience and musicians can share the magic of the concert experience inside an exceptionally intimate setting: its configuration and embracing acoustics will provide you with a unique experience, wherever you are sitting;
- The Philharmonie de Paris is the new home of the Orchestre de Paris, who will enjoy the highest standard of equipment to match their international reputation;
- The Philharmonie de Paris is a worldwide reference for symphonic groups, but it is also an opening to all sorts of musical genres, thanks to its design, exceptionally modular considering the great size of the hall.
- The Philharmonie de Paris will present a programme devised for all of you: high-profile during the week, family programming at the weekend, with many new concert formats, and special offers at reduced rates including proposals for all those big and small.
From 2015, come experience music differently at the Philharmonie de Paris.
